On December 12, 2024, Advantage Austria – AußenwirtschaftsCenter Laibach organized a half-day event with Slovenian health ecosystem stakeholders. The meeting gathered 24 participants (16 women and 8 men), including students from the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences enrolled in the program Health and Care Management. The study visit included stops at the Metelkova Health Centre, the Ministry of Health, and DIH HealthWise. Technology Park Ljubljana, within the framework of the I3HIES project, actively participated by presenting its mission, activities, and real-world digital health applications.

The final part of the study visit took place at DIH HealthWise, where supporting activities and opportunities were presented:
Advantage Austria: Deputy Director Bernd Andresson introduced support programs and management services fostering cross-border collaboration.
DIH HealthWise – ongoing opportunities: Rebeka Žerovnik, Head of DIH HealthWise, presented activities focused on accelerating digital health solutions, promoting technology adoption in healthcare education, and disseminating information about I3HIES open calls and the Digital Health Ljubljana event.
Interaction & discussion: Students engaged in a lively dialogue with the HealthWise team, asking about entrepreneurial skill development opportunities and the integration of digital technologies into medical curricula.
